You kind of have 2 options with renting 4x4's in my experience. 1. Newer ones: The upsides here are that the cars a little nicer, but at the same time much more expensive. 2. Used ones: The upside here is that you can get it vastly cheaper, have them meet you at the airport (so no having to deal with check-in or check-out stuff), but the vehicles are maybe 8-10 years old.
