How to Make Payments or Deposits Security Deposit:

As with most vehicle rental companies, we require an advanced deposit to guarantee your reservation. The amount of the deposit ranges between $100 and $200 depending on the length of time of your rental and is later deducted from your final balance. Any pre-payments will be 100% refunded if you cancel your reservation at least 4 weeks in advance of your arrival date.

If less than 2 week´s notice of cancellation, we retain $200 as a lost rental fee. A 4 week notice, simply gives us time to re-rent your 4x4 in the event you need to cancel. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, PayPal, or direct deposit to our Wells Fargo Bank account in the U.S. (We prefer direct Wells Fargo deposit if possible)

We accept PayPal, Master Card, VISA, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards. The final payment for the remainder of your rental balance can be made at any time prior to your arrival. Many clients prefer to pay the rental balance in advance in one simple transaction, instead of two. This way, everything is pre-paid and taken care of by the time you arrive. One transaction instead of two. It's up to you.

Our insurance covers any damage or theft over $1000, so this amount is your security deposit. (Ask about our No Risk, No Deductible, No Security Deposit plan). If your 4x4 is returned undamaged and with same amount of gas as when you received your 4x4, your security deposit credit card authorization is canceled and never processed or charged to your credit card. To our knowledge, we have the lowest security deposit of any car rental agency in Costa Rica.
