As with most vehicle rental companies, we require an advanced deposit to guarantee your reservation.  The amount of the deposit ranges between $100 and $200 depending on the length of time of your rental and is later deducted from your final balance.

Any pre-payments will be 100% refunded if you cancel your reservation at least 4 weeks in advance of your arrival date.

This gives us time to re-rent your 4x4 in the event you need to cancel.

Payments can be made by credit card, Google Checkout, personal or bank check, direct deposit, or cash at delivery.

We accept Master Card, VISA, American Express, and Discover credit cards. 

The final payment for the remainder of your rental balance can be made at any time right up to when you take delivery of your 4x4.

Many clients prefer to pay the rental balance in full before  leaving for Costa Rica.  This way, you do not have to bring as much cash with you to Costa Rica, and everything is pre-paid and taken care of by the time you arrive.  One transaction instead of two.  It's up to you.

Security Deposit:

If you have not already done so prior to leaving to go to Costa Rica, when you take delivery on your 4x4 GEO Tracker, you pay any balance remaining on your rental term

and authorize the security deposits on your credit card.

Our insurance covers any damage or theft over $700, so this amount is your security deposit.  We also take a $50 gasoline deposit.  This gives you the convenient option of returning your 4x4 empty.  If your 4x4 is returned undamaged and full of gas, your security deposit credit card authorization is cancelled and never processed or charged to your credit card.

To our knowledge, we have the lowest security deposit of any car rental agency in Costa Rica.
